Itinerary Karnak Temple
  1. You will be picked up by your knowledgeable Egyptologist Tour Guide from the airport, hotel, train station, or Nile cruise in Luxor. Afterwards begin your half-day excursion to the Karnak Temple, the biggest temple ever constructed in Egypt. The intricate building project, which began with Senusret I’s rule in the Middle Kingdom (1971–1926 BC) and extended into the Ptolemaic era (332–30 BC), spans approximately two thousand years of Egyptian history. Take in the magnificent avenue of sphinxes with a lion’s body and a ram’s head, the Great Pylons, the enormous hypostyle hall with 134 columns, the obelisks, the sanctuary of Philip III Arrhidaeus of Macedon, The Akh Menu of Tuthmosis III (1479–1425 BC), and the holy lake as you stroll. Enjoy your spare time to explore the following.
Itinerary Luxor Temple

Continue your journey to Luxor Temple, which is situated in the heart of Luxor City and served as the opposite end of the Sphinx Avenue that connected Karnak Temple to Luxor Temple. Amenhotep III (r. 1386–r. 1349 BC) and Ramses II (r. 1290–r. 1223 BC) erected the Luxor Temple, with additional work performed on it by Tutankhamon, Hormohep, and Alexander the Great.

After a wonderful guided tour of the Luxor Temple, take advantage of the free time.

You will afterwards be taken to the Luxor East Bank location of your choice (hotel, airport, train station, or Nile cruise).
